They are handcarved from acacia wood also known as monkey pod or rain tree. This tree is prolific and is managed on plantations to sustain supply. As each item is individually carved there will be minor variations. Suitable for indoor use only. Please note these are not toys. NATURAL FINISH INFORMATION - please note that Acacia wood has natural variations in wood grain and colour, going from almost white to a dark honey brown. As such the placement of such colouring will vary item to item and your purchase is likely to vary slightly from the pair in the photograph. Part of the appeal of this item is its hand-made nature. It is crafted in a natural product with hand tools in the traditional way. As such, please allow for minor imperfections in the wood.
