This beautiful gecko is hand carved for us in Bali. The artist has cleverly captured the frog climbing up onto a rock. The wood used here is suar wood which has a natural two-tone effect and can range from an almost white colour through to a dark warm brown. The carving has been lightly waxed to enhance the wood. A perfect gift for all gecko lovers. As with all carvings keep away from heat sources such as radiators to ensure the wood does not over dry. Please be aware that due to the nature of the wood grain all these geckos vary slightly. Your gecko is likely to be slightly different to the one in the picture but will be just as beautiful. Part of the appeal of this statue is it's handmade nature. It is crafted using a natural product using hand tools in the traditional way. As such please accept that there may be minor imperfections in the wood which add to it's authenticity and ensure you are not purchasing a generic, factory-made product.
