This beautiful otter is hand carved for us in Bali. The artist has cleverly captured a notoriously difficult animal to carve and the attention to detail is superb. The material used is a wood called Suar which has light and dark grain unique to each piece and each carving varies accordingly. The carving has been lightly waxed to enhance the wood.

This item is an indoor carving ONLY. To maintain you can use a wood oil, we use teak oil for a lot of our carvings which brings out the grains in the wood to the fullest.
